Donald Trump insisted that the redacted 28 pages of the 9/11 report which detail Saudi Arabia’s role in attacks be included in the GOP’s official platform, but the proposal was later rejected after pressure from Bush operatives, sources have told Infowars.com.

On Monday, the national security subcommittee of the GOP platform committee approved a plank that calls for the declassification of the 28 pages which read as follows;

Delivering Transparency on Foreign Government Ties to 9/11

As the nation continues to confront terrorism at home and abroad, the American people are being denied access to information that can provide vital insight into the funding of Islamic extremism: 28 classified pages from a 2002 joint congressional intelligence inquiry into the September 11 attacks. A former senator who co-chaired the inquiry says the pages “point a very strong finger at Saudi Arabia as being the principal financier” of the 9/11 attacks and that, by shielding the kingdom from consequences for its actions, the redaction has encouraged its continued sponsorship of extremism and paved the way for the rise of ISIS.

President Obama twice promised 9/11 family members he would release the pages, which could be invaluable in their pursuit of justice in the courtroom. However, his administration has refused to declassify them, even in the face of bipartisan support for their release that includes former 9/11 Commission members and 73 current representatives and senators. These pages must be released. As Thomas Jefferson said, “An enlightened citizenry is indispensable for the proper functioning of a republic. Self-government is not possible unless the citizens are educated sufficiently to enable them to exercise oversight.”

The plank, introduced by Maine state senator Eric Brakey, was subsequently rejected by the full GOP platform committee despite hopes that the resolution would pass.

According to sources close to the Trump campaign, Trump himself threw his full support behind including the 28 pages promise on the platform, but Bush family operatives worked feverishly to sabotage the effort.

“Bush operative Ron Kaufman was seen pulling committee members from the meeting and begging members not to embarrass “the President,” according to our source.

The 28 pages were originally classified by the Bush administration in 2002 on “national security” grounds, but pressure has been building for their release ever since.

Back in April, Trump said that the revelations contained in the classified 28 pages were “profound” in what they revealed about “Saudi Arabia’s role” in the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

Infowars reporter Richard Reeves asked Jeb Bush if he would like to see the release of the 28 pages back in February, to which Bush curtly responded, “Yeah I’d like to see ’em, you got ’em?”
